Terms of sale
The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory
rights. You must be minimum 18years of age to order. We will
treat each order subject to these terms and conditions.
Payment Methods
When placing your order you must provide us with your billing
address and telephone number (which your bank has on file).
Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your
order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation
of your credit card has been properly received. You can also
pay by cheque, postal order or TT. Please note: cheque and postal
orders could take up to 10 days to clear, until then we cannot
dispatch the good.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to
typographical error or error in pricing information from our
suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we reserve the right to refuse
or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price. If your
credit card has already been charged you have the opportunity
to cancel the order or allow the transaction to proceed at the
stated price. Your credit card account will be reimbursed to
the full value of the incorrect price should you wish to terminate
the transaction.
Availability of Goods
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn
at any time. If for any reason we do not have supply of the
goods, we will refund any money paid for them. We do not under
any circumstances accept liability for losses incurred due to
delay/not receiving goods.
Delivery
All prices on the website are exclusive of delivery charges,
which will be added at the checkout. The prices are calculated
by weight, value, distance, and type of delivery service you
require.
Please note: goods will only be delivered to the address provided
by the customer and will not be left without a signature. Once
the goods have been signed for and received, any loss or damage
incurred is at the owner's risk. Any transit damage to the goods,
shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery
consignment note at the time of delivery.
Product Warranty
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions
of the Manufacturer's Guarantee for a period of 12 months. This
guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect,
and misuse. We give no assurance as to the mutual compatibility
of components sold. If goods are found to be incompatible or
not faulty we reserve the right to impose a charge to cover
re-packaging and handling costs. Any software
purchased from us may not be returned, under any circumstances,
for refund, credit or exchange.
TFT/LCD Display Standards (ISO13406-2)
The screen on TFT displays is made up of thousands of tiny pixels.
A 10" flat-screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 for example
has 786423 pixels. Each pixel comprises three sub-pixels (red,
green and blue) so on the 10" above, there are almost 2.4 million
dots in total. Behind each pixel is a transistor. When a transistor
fails it manifests itself as a bright, dark or coloured dot
on the screen that stands out from the rest. It is common for
a monitor to have several dead pixels and still be classified
as fully functional. TFT monitors are graded in Classes I to
IV - which denote the number of failed transistors on screen
at any time. This is known in the industry as ALLOWABLE DEFECT.
Class I monitors are without allowable defect and are used for
military, Hospital or other Critical applications - Class II
is the common class for consumer equipment, Which could have
up to 5 failed transistors on screen, before it can be classed
as faulty. The other classes allow more transistor failure.
All the TFT/LCD displays sold buy us are Class II.
Time Limitation for Notification of Claims
Damage in transit:
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note
on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your
responsibility to inform us within 2 days from delivery.
Shortages:
It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of
packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note.
Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will
be your responsibility to notify us within 2 days from delivery.
In-Correct Goods:
It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods
supplied within 2 days from delivery.
Non-Deliveries:
We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless
we are notified within 2 days from the expected delivery date.
Cancellation of Orders
You are entitled to withdraw from this contract within 7 days
from delivery of the goods for a full credit or refund less
any applicable delivery charges. The goods must be unused and
'as new' in their original box and packaging including all disks,
manuals and accessories. Goods sent back to us will be at your
own cost and risk. Goods received back to us in any condition
other than 'as new' will be returned back to you at your own
cost.
RMA (Returns Authorisation number)
Goods returned need to be accompanied with a valid RMA number.
Goods will not be accepted without an RMA number. RMA number
is usually valid for 10 DAYS. When returning items please ensure
that the RMA number is clearly stated on the outside of the
postal packaging. Include copy of your invoice and detailed
fault report inside the parcel. RMA number can be acquired by
calling 0871 236 1771 (call charged at national rate).
Faulty Returns - Dead on Arrival
All returns need a valid RMA number and fault report; all items
must be complete with relevant packaging, manuals, disks and
cables. When sending in a fault report please give as much detail
as possible as this will help us to speed up the turn around
time of your item. Please note that words like DEAD or FAULTY
do not help us at all. Testing could take up to 7 days after
arrival.
Product is deemed to be 'dead on arrival' if it shows symptoms
of hardware failure preventing basic operation upon its first
use out of the box. In such instances please contact our support
help line on 0870 286 3222 within 5 days from the delivery date.
It will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at
your own cost and risk; upon receipt of the goods and confirmation
of the fault by our engineers you will be offered the following
options:
- Replacement - This item will be shipped to you
at our own expense.
- Full refund - Except delivery and provided the
item has been verified faulty and is complete with all accessories
in its original box and packaging.
Faulty Returns - After 7 Days
Goods falling in any of the mentioned below, will result in
warranty being terminated and the goods will be sent back to
you at your expense.
- The goods are in some way physically damaged
- The goods found not to have been sold to by the
Company.
- The warranty label from the company have been tampered
with / torn.
- The goods are outside the 12months warranty
limit.
If goods are found to be faulty
by our engineers you will be offered the following:
Within 28day period -items will be replaced
with equivalent if the originals are not available.
After 28day period - items will have to be
sent to our suppliers and could take up to
21 working days for replacement.
A product found not to be defective upon testing may
incur a testing/handling fee and the returning cost of delivery
will be charged to you. Unfortunately we
are unable to guarantee compatibility between items sold.
Returns therefore found to be incompatible may also incur
a testing/handling fee. £10+vat
We
do not sell on a trial basis and do not guarantee
compatibility between items sold. Goods returned under these
circumstances will result in 25% restocking fee minimum £10.
Liability
The extent of the company liability to the customer for any
default or breach howsoever arising shall in no case exceed
the invoice value of the goods. We do not accept responsibility
for the loss of any software or data stored on any system or
storage media handed to use for inspection, repair, upgrade
or other. We do not accept responsibility for any failures to
the customers' components within its possession, unless these
have been damaged by the use. We do not accept responsibility
once the goods have been delivered and signed for by the customer,
for any damage incurred to the goods.
This terms & condition policy does not affect your statutory
rights.
